Part of me is convicted about not thanking God for everything I have all the time. Part of me, the smart aleck, thinks this is why we shouldn't thank God for our troubles! ROFL

LOL, JoJo! However, not sure that will work. Maybe as we are thankful in spite of our difficult circumstances, they will become less difficult. :) I love how God works!!
So true, Tracy! I'm finding the more I focus on the gratitude list the smaller the difficulties seem.

At times I've thanked God for my trials but if I really had this choice I must admit I wouldn't choose to keep them. I'd take the easy road which would mean many of the blessings I've subsequently received wouldn't occur either. That's probably why He didn't ask!
Great points, Diane! I'm so grateful God didn't ask me if I wanted most of my trials, I would never have accepted. And oh my I would have missed SO many blessings!
